Focus: Acute and chronic injuries to the shoulder joint
- Bursitis: inflammation of the bursa between the acromion and humeral head
- Impingement syndrome: “pinching” caused by a narrow space between the acromion and humeral head
- Tendinitis: inflammation of the long biceps tendon (LBS)
- Tendinosis calcarea: calcium deposits in one or more shoulder tendons
- Rotator cuff rupture: partial or complete rupture of the shoulder tendon
- Dislocations: Dislocation of the shoulder joint due to trauma or instability
- AC dislocation: dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint (acromioclavicular joint)
- Frozen shoulder: Stiffening of the shoulder joint due to capsular shrinkage
- Osteoarthritis: abrasion of the shoulder joint

Biography
I was born and grew up in Zadar, Croatia. I successfully completed my medical studies at the J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek in 2004. I completed my further training as a specialist in general surgery, orthopaedics and traumatology at the KBC Osijek, KBCSM in Zagreb in Croatia and finished it at the Tauernklinikum Mittersill.
Since 2014, I have been working as a senior physician for orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the Tauernklinikum Mittersill and Zell am See. As a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology, my focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system using the latest methods, both conservatively and surgically. After many years of experience, the focus of my surgical medical work is on hip and knee prosthetics.
