Biography
I was born and grew up in Zadar, Croatia. I successfully completed my medical studies at the J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek in 2004. I completed my further training as a specialist in general surgery, orthopaedics and traumatology at the KBC Osijek, KBCSM in Zagreb in Croatia and finished it at the Tauernklinikum Mittersill.
Since 2014, I have been working as a senior physician for orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the Tauernklinikum Mittersill and Zell am See. As a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology, my focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system using the latest methods, both conservatively and surgically. After many years of experience, the focus of my surgical medical work is on hip and knee prosthetics.

Biography
I was born and raised in Zadar, Croatia. In 2004, I successfully completed my medical studies at the J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek. Career Path:
I was born in Zell am See and studied at the Medical University of Innsbruck, completing my studies in 11 semesters (awarded two merit scholarships for the 2nd and 3rd academic phases). In 2003, I began my post-graduate medical training at the Department of General Surgery under Prof. Raimund Margreiter at the University Clinic in Innsbruck.
Since orthopedics had already emerged as my desired specialty during my studies, I transitioned in 2005 to the University Clinic for Orthopedics in Innsbruck under Prof. Martin Krismer.
At the Innsbruck Clinic, I had the privilege of witnessing the development of the minimally invasive hip approach firsthand before returning to my home region of Salzburg in 2006 to work at the Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg under Prof. U. Dorn.
For seven years at the Salzburg State Hospital (LKH), I worked closely with Dr. Franz Landauer, Senior Consultant, who mentored me in the fields of endoprosthetics, foot surgery, and especially pediatric orthopedics. Beginning in 2011, I led the Sports Orthopedics Outpatient Clinic. Dr. Landauer also instilled in me the importance of addressing patients’ fears and concerns seriously, ensuring they feel well cared for.
In October 2012, I assumed the position of Senior Consultant in the Orthopedics Department at the Cardinal Schwarzenberg Hospital in Schwarzach under Dr. Manfred Höflehner, appreciating the opportunity to work in my beloved home region of Pinzgau.
