Conservative and surgical treatment of acute and chronic injuries of the musculoskeletal system (shoulder, hand, knee, ankle).

Focus: Acute and chronic injuries of the shoulder joint

  • Bursitis: Inflammation of the bursa located between the shoulder blade and humeral head
  • Impingement syndrome: “Pinching” caused by narrowing between the shoulder blade and humeral head
  • Tendinitis: Inflammation of the long biceps tendon (LBT)
  • Tendinosis calcarea: Calcium deposits in one or more shoulder tendons
  • Rotator cuff tear: Partial or complete tear of the shoulder tendon
  • Dislocations: Displacement of the shoulder joint caused by trauma or instability
  • AC dislocation: Displacement of the acromioclavicular joint
  • Frozen shoulder: Stiffening of the shoulder joint due to capsular shrinkage
  • Arthrosis: Wear and tear of the shoulder joint
