  • Minimally invasive joint replacement (endoprosthetics) of major joints, focusing on hip, knee, shoulder, and ankle replacements, both primary and revision
  • Foot and ankle surgery (certified by the German Association for Foot and Ankle Surgery since 2004)
  • Arthroscopic surgery of major joints (including ligament, cartilage, rotator cuff, and labrum reconstruction)
  • Fracture treatment for joint and extremity injuries, including pelvis injuries and secondary reconstructive surgery

Special Techniques

  • Minimally invasive direct anterior approach for hip replacement (primary treatment standard) with/without leg positioner or hook assistance system ROTEX/Condor™, AnteriorPATH® Bikini DAA
  • Acetabulum and pelvic fractures: ORIF or percutaneous screw osteosynthesis
  • Arthroscopic/mini-open correction of femoroacetabular impingement
  • Percutaneous stabilization of the thoracic and lumbar spine
  • Talus and calcaneus fractures
  • Corrective arthrodesis/osteotomies near the knee joint and for forefoot/hindfoot deformities, both congenital and acquired
  • Patient-specific instrumentation for knee endoprosthetics (Prophecy™), particularly for post-traumatic deformity with gonarthrosis, and from 11/2015 for the ankle joint (Infinity™ and Inbone™)
  • Unicondylar knee replacement (Persona or Oxford-HS™)
  • Arthroscopic and open cartilage surgery (Microfracture / AMIC / OATS / Coltrix™) across the entire lower extremity, arthroscopically assisted stabilization of AC joint injuries
  • ACL reconstruction (Semitendinosus primarily, Quadriceps or Patella secondarily), Healing Response Technique (retrospective study conducted)
  • Patellofemoral: MPFL reconstruction (dynamic), tibial tubercle osteotomy, joint replacement, trochleoplasty
